DOLPHINE FISH OR MAHI MAHI, ARE A HIGHLY MIGRATORY SPECIES THAT VISIT OUR AREA IN THE SUMMER MONTHS. THE MOST POPULAR METHOD FOR TARGETING THEM IS TROLLING THE WEED LINES FOUND IN THE DEEP GULF.  SCHOOLS OF THESE BRIGHT YELLOW AND GREEN FISH CAN ALSO BE FOUND UNDER FLOATING DEBRIS.   THEY ARE TOUGH FIGHTERS AND GREAT TABLE FARE.  SCHOOLIES CAN RANGE IN SIZE FROM 2 TO 10 POUNDS WITH LARGER FISH UP TO 40 POUNDS CAUGHT OUT IN THE GULF STREAM.  KEEPING A  WATCH OUT FOR SOARING FRIGATE BIRDS CAN HELP LOCATE THE BIGGER FISH.
